Phyllis has a flair for detail.  In each bird, lake, tree or butterfly you will see minute detail brought to life.   She studied commercial illustration and design and graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls.  While in college, Phyllis entered an Art Class project into the Oregon State Fair.  She received a 2nd place ribbon for her rendition of a film poster that pictured Loretta Young in The Bishop's Wife. 

Diabetes has made Phyllis almost blind, however, with the aid of magnifying glasses, eating right, and plenty of exercise, she still sits down at her art desk to continue her artwork!  Phyllis' favorite medium is acrylic on wood.  She has done several pieces on canvas, rocks, wooden boxes, a milk can, a milk crate, kitchen cabinet doors, showers stalls, mirrors, windows, and cardboard for school play props.  The paintings pictured here are only a few of the paintings she has completed over the years.  Look for Phyllis' Art Portfolio at Fine Art America.
